You make a good point, it is an obvious violation. I don't care, personally, but it does set a precident that I make care about in the future.

I agree. I don't really care either in this instance. But if Facebook doesn't complain now, will they have any credibility to stop someone who wants to use Facebook Connect to discriminate based on age or religion?

I don't think HerHotSpot.com thought this through. More than a little backpedaling and spinning taking place on Twitter.
